Transitions HUB's 3-month Mentoring Programme gives partner organisations a structured, high-impact way to support refugee and migrant professionals restarting their careers in the UK. Mentors provide practical industry insight, confidence-building support, and access to professional networks, all of which help candidates overcome barriers such as career gaps, unfamiliar recruitment practices, and limited UK experience.

This programme is designed to be accessible, structured, and meaningful. It supports mentors and mentees through guided sessions, shared learning, and opportunities for reverse mentoring, enabling employees to use their skills in ways that create genuine social impact.
Mentors strengthen their ability to guide, motivate and support others - skills directly transferable to team management. Working closely with someone from a different background builds empathy, active listening and cross-cultural communication, while mentors gain insight into global professional experience and alternative problem-solving approaches.
