Transitions HUB is a lifeline for people navigating the challenges of resettlement and integration. My role is to ensure that we provide practical pathways for individuals to not only find work but to thrive in roles that match their skills, aspirations, and experience. We focus on empowering people, one step at a time, by dismantling the systemic obstacles that too often hold them back.

I believe that real change happens through partnership working. Whether it's with multinational firms, local businesses, or community organisations, my leadership is grounded in a commitment to shared, sustainable impact.

The work I do at Transitions HUB is personal for me. Every story of a refugee finding meaningful work, rebuilding their career, and finding community, is a reminder of why this work matters. I’m still in contact with many of our former candidates and it’s my privilege to watch them succeed.

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) aren’t just buzzwords—they are the foundation of everything we do. I’ve always pushed to make sure that our programmes don’t just comply with EDI standards but truly embody them. My goal is to ensure that the people we work with not only gain employment but also enter workplaces that value their backgrounds and show respect and compassion for their lived experiences.

Beyond my professional role, I am actively engaged in community development. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I co-founded a grassroots food delivery service for vulnerable Londoners. This community-led initiative reflects my broader passion for practical, people-focused solutions. Whether through Transitions HUB or other local and international projects, I’m always looking for ways to support underserved populations.

At heart, I’m an organiser and a connector. Through Transitions HUB, I’ll continue to fight for the opportunities and dignity that refugees and migrants deserve.
